馬術(shù),是中國古代流行久遠(yuǎn)的運(yùn)動項(xiàng)目之一,主要有賽馬、馬上技巧和戲馬等形式。漢代的馬術(shù)活動較興盛。唐代時期,馬術(shù)在宮廷中已成為一種娛樂項(xiàng)目,并有了新的發(fā)現(xiàn)。明清之際,無論是民間,還是軍中,馬術(shù)的比賽和表演活動更盛,反映了中國歷代馬上運(yùn)動的發(fā)展和馬術(shù)表演的高度水平。
Equestrian sports
Equestrian sports, including polo, horse racing and performances on horseback, were already in existence during the Han Dynasty (206BC-AD220) and became a favourite sport with the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) courts. During the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) times, they were quite popular both among the populace and imperial troops.
